Hello, My name is Scott Simonson. I started photographing homes back in 2006 when I became a realtor for my own listings. I then started talking pictures for our small office listings. I soon realized that most Real Estate Photography used by Agents back then were, um how should I put this not the greatest, even my own. It always drives me a little crazy to see photos of beautiful homes with poorly light rooms, walls that are not straight, and colors that look like a painting. I thought to myself, if I want to stand out in marketing my listings I had to have better photography. I went to work on just that, talking on-line classes purchasing flash units, stands, and umbrellas etc and learning how to use them. The learning never stops with Photoshop and new techniques. As my photography skills started getting better, I started reaching out to other Realtors back in 2011 to see if I could help them with their photos for their listings. I started a blog for my work and started getting some clients and now have LAPropertyPhotos.com where you can see examples of my work and contact me to set up your next photo shoot. I am a sailor also and love sailing. When there was a boat show in my own marina back in 2016 I met a Yacht Broker and gave her my card. I have been shooting yachts ever since.
